PDS - Plan Criteria
The Property Divestment Scheme enables landlords to raise capital by selling
part or all of their property portfolios. Important criteria include the following:
- Properties will be purchased for cash up to 70% of the open market value.
All properties will be valued by an independent qualified surveyor, which will be paid for by RPS
- Portfolios can be of any size but must be for residential property only
- All property must be located in England, Scotland or Wales
- New developments and properties in need of refurbishment will be considered
- Portfolios must comprise properties which are let, with no major voids or issues relating to rent arrears or defaults
- Tenancies must be either Assured Shorthold Tenancies (ASTs) or Statutory Periodic Tenancies
- No Assured Tenancies, Regulated Tenancies or tenancies giving security of tenure for life.
- There are no up-front fees or charges for landlords. The only cost which landlords will incur will be for their legal work
